Melvin Hodges was
the Director for A/G Latin America missions from 1953 to 1973. During
that time he wrote many books, one of which is the renown
The Indigenous Church. It is
still being used as a text book in many Bible colleges to train English
speaking missionaries the Biblical methods of planting churches in
foreign countries.
LALS now serves as
the catalyst to put this book into Spanish for use in Latin American
Bible schools that are training national missionaries.
Another of Hodges’ books that we are
translating into Spanish is A Theology
of the Church and It’s Mission. What valuable tools
these two books will
be for Spanish
speaking students and pastors being trained in missions! |
