Library Models

Leadership Library: This collection consists of 100 titles with the concentration of books focusing on leadership. It also includes commentaries, dictionaries, and books on hermeneutics, Old Testament and New Testament. The cost of the Leadership Library is $1,340.

Basic Reference Library: This library consists of approximately 135 volumes, including commentary sets of the most fundamental reference materials for any Bible college library. The cost of a Basic Reference Library is $2,000.

Minister's Library: This library consists of approximately 125 volumes that will help the pastor serve his congregation. The cost of a Pastor's Library is $1,600.

Condensed Library: This library consists of approximately 430 volumes that will typically be found in smaller Bible colleges. This Mini Library costs $5,000.

Standard Academic Library: This library consists of 930 volumes. For schools that offer a three-year program this library provides a complete set of study and reference materials for students preparing for ministry. This Basic Academic Library costs $9,700.

Advanced Academic Library: This library consists of 1,050 volumes. Several Bible colleges in Latin America and the Caribbean serve as hosts for graduate study programs. The additional 100 volumes at this level provide the materials necessary for the students who are working on an advanced graduate degree. This Advanced Academic Library costs $12,300.

English Library: This library consists of 500 volumes. Many of the countries in the Caribbean speak English, therefore LALS includes a suggested list of books for those libraries as well. The cost of an English Library is $7,000.

French Library: This library consists of 485 volumes. This library is equivalent to the basic reference list. The cost of a French Library is $5,000.
